The 100-mile route is our most challenging—and most rewarding—ride, combining long distance with serious climbs. After cruising through Downtown Denver, including Union Station and Empower Field, you’ll head west to Golden for the iconic ascent up Lookout Mountain.

From there, descend into Morrison and climb Dinosaur Ridge, taking in sweeping views before rolling past Red Rocks and through Bear Creek Lake Park. Tackle the short but punchy climb up Mt. Carbon, then power through the beauty of Deer Creek Canyon.

Your return brings you through Littleton, Englewood, and Cherry Hills Village, then north through Central Park before finishing back at Northfield.

If this is your first century ride, we encourage you to log some training miles and include climbing in your prep—it will make all the difference come ride day!

6:30am - 7:00am: All 100 Mile Cyclists start

**All cyclists riding the 100 Mile Route must be through Aid Station #1 by 8:10am. Any cyclists remaining at Aid Station #1 after 9:30am will be directed to ride the 25 mile route. This is for rider safety; after 9:30am there will be no Denver Police Department support along the longer routes.

**Additionally, 100 mile riders must be at W Alameda and Rooney Rd. in Morrison before 9:15am or they will be directed to ride the 85 mile route.

4:00pm - The 100 Mile Course Closes

The 100 mile route is designed to help cyclists discover how easy it is to get out to the mountains by bike with the Downtown Denver skyline in full view and relish in the proximity of city and country. It highlights some of Denver’s bicycle commuter routes and casual riding areas including a challenging climb from Golden through Lookout Mountain.
