The fresh 100 Mile Century Ride starts at the grassy and “green” Stapleton Central Park, heads west through the historic brick homes of the Whittier neighborhood before emerging into Downtown Denver. Cyclists soak in the energy of the city as they pass near Coors Field, Commons Park, Elitch’s and the Pepsi Center before they begin the steady climb toward the rolling hills of Golden. For those cyclists seeking the ultimate challenge, they continue their westward journey to the breathtaking view from atop Lookout Mountain, with the city on one side and 14,000 foot peaks on the other.
New this year, endurance cyclists can choose to opt-out of the hill climb and continue on the scenic northern route toward Boulder. All three endurance courses (100, 85 & 65 mile routes) reconvene at the base of the northern foothills and continue north to Standley Lake. The 100 Mile Century Course cruises along the rolling north hills until reaching the dramatic view of the famous Boulder Flatirons. At this point, the course turns east and south, winding its way along wide open pastures and fast-paced roads to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal before concluding Stapleton Central Park.
Each course includes access to well-marked, fully supported routes with aid stations including water, sports drinks, munchies, mechanics, post-ride party and more!
$10 of every 100 Mile, 85 Mile, and 62 Mile registration will be donated to BikeDenver so they can continue their efforts to improve cycling access throughout the Metro area.
20% off Registration expires January 31 at midnight.
