A Good Reason to Ride
The Denver Century Ride is proud of the impact our registrations and your participation has in the Denver community. With nearly 1,800 registered cyclists, the Denver Century Ride generated more than $21,000 in contributions to various non-profit groups including the event’s three primary beneficiaries: Bicycle Colorado, BikeDenver and Bike Jeffco. The Ride donated $10 from each of the paid long distance registrations for a total contribution to these three entities of more than $14,000. Bicycle Colorado, BikeDenver, Bike Jeffco and the Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride are committed to making cycling accessible for all people, and to further the cycling infrastructure in the Denver metro area and around the state of Colorado.
Bicycle Colorado, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, uses the tools of education and advocacy to make Colorado one of the most bicycle-friendly states. With the support of our members, we’ve made significant strides in improving bicycling since 1992. Some of what Bicycle Colorado has done:

BikeDenver is Denver’s bicycle advocacy organization. Our mission is to promote and encourage bicycling in Denver and to get more people in Denver on bikes for recreation, transportation and FUN because we believe that bicycling is good for Denver.
Our work is focused in three areas; advocacy to improve policy and infrastructure that supports increased bicycle access in Denver; education for children, youth, college students and adults; and community engagement such as Bike to Work Wednesdays, BikeDenver After Hours and Tour de Fat.
Our network includes over 5,000 supporters and more than 350 volunteers who regularly participate in outreach events and help provide free community bike parking at Denver festivals and events with a combined attendance of over 1.6 million.

The trend has been clear. Many non-profit organizations have found that aligning with existing events as a fundraising platform can be more successful and far less risky that producing their own fundraising events. These types of partnerships allow for the charitable organization to focus on recruiting participants from among their constituents and stakeholders to raise pledges and donations while leaving the marketing and production of the event to professional organizers.
The Denver Century Ride welcomes nonprofit organizations that desire to utilize the ride as a fundraising platform. It’s a great way to gain visibility for your charity, get people involved in a common mission and raise money. Even better, it’s simple and risk free!
Your nonprofit organization promotes the ride and recruits cyclists to register for the ride at a specially discounted rate for the Century (100 miles), 3/4 Century, 1/2 Century or the 1/4 Century distances. No minimum number of cyclists is required for participation as a Charity Affiliate of the Denver Century Ride.
You support your participants by providing them with a fundraising platform to secure pledges and donations from their friends, neighbors and coworkers based upon their cycling achievement. All funds come directly to you.
Based upon a recommended minimum fundraising level that you establish, (e.g. $500), you register your team members at a discounted rate ($64) and perhaps provide them with a custom designed “team” cycling jersey (Average $40 cost each).
Let the Denver Century Ride produce a great cycling experience for your team that is fully supported with aid stations, mobile medics, support vehicles, police and ride marshals and a great post ride street party complete with live music, food and beer!
You keep 100% of the pledges/funds raised less the registration and jersey costs for each participant.
